Libraries across Connecticut are hosting their authors on-line this summer. You must contact the library hosting the event to register. Feel free to ask questions! Please give us feedback after each event you attend. We hope you enjoy the Connecticut Authors Virtual Trail and remember p.j.’s are optional!

Amy Oestreicher will be presenting a virtual program on her memoir, My Beautiful Detour: An Unthinkable Journey from Gutless to Grateful, on Wednesday, August 5 at 6:30 pm. Amy is a multi-talented artist, writer, and speaker whose book recounts her journey from the explosion of her stomach as a teenager to the warrior she is today. This event was to be part of the Connecticut Authors Trail program which was cancelled due to the pandemic. The Connecticut Authors Trail highlights and hosts local authors in northeastern Connecticut public libraries.
