Amy Oestreicher will be presenting a virtual program on her memoir, My Beautiful Detour: An Unthinkable Journey from Gutless to Grateful, on Wednesday, August 5 at 6:30 pm. Amy is a multi-talented artist, writer, and speaker whose book recounts her journey from the explosion of her stomach as a teenager to the warrior she is today. This event was to be part of the Connecticut Authors Trail program which was cancelled due to the pandemic. The Connecticut Authors Trail highlights and hosts local authors in northeastern Connecticut public libraries.
